Make plans to join us at Staunton Grace on March 24 and 25 for our 16th annual Stoking the Fire Men’s Conference! Four pastors will hit us with their best, most impactful messages for men. You will hear hard-hitting, no-nonsense messages that will re-ignite your passion for God and for furthering His Kingdom. There will be excellent fellowship, fantastic worship, and opportunities for prayer. This is one men’s conference you shouldn’t miss!

Our speakers will be:

Bill Copeland, Christ Community Church, Charlottesville

A Charlottesville native, Bill graduated from the University of Virginia in 1977, where he played tailback for the Cavaliers football team. He attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary from 1983-1985. After seminary, Bill served as chaplain, Bible teacher, and coach at Stony Brook School. In 1989, he became Headmaster at the Covenant School in Charlottesville. He returned to Stony Brook as Assistant Headmaster in 1998, and served there until he was called back to Charlottesville in 2002, to serve as Associate Pastor at Christ Community Church. He assumed the role of Lead Pastor in 2008. Bill and his wife Sherry have been married for thirty-six years, and have one adult son, Reede. Bill enjoys reading, watching college football & basketball, and spending time with his family and friends.

Jim McIntosh, Beverley Manor Baptist Church, Staunton

Jim McIntosh grew up in Orange County, Virginia and served four years in the U.S. Army. He served as an electrical engineering tech in the Engineering Department at the University of Virginia for 33 years. He has pastored churches in Culpeper and Orange Counties and is currently serving at Beverley Manor Baptist Church in Staunton where he has been lead pastor for 20 years. Pastor McIntosh is a regular guest speaker at Staunton Grace Covenant Church during the Christmas season. He has been an avid skydiver in years past.

Clay Sterrett, Community Fellowship Church, Staunton

Clay Sterrett is a co-pastor with four other men and has been teaching the Bible in Community Fellowship Church and Grace Christian School in Staunton, Virginia, for over forty years. He is a 1974 graduate in Biblical Studies from Oral Roberts University. He and his wife Teresa have two grown sons, Bill and Dave, and three grandsons. Clay has written a dozen books, including Safeguards for the Saints, Faith, Hope and Love: One Day at a Time, and Overcomers in Christ. He has conducted many seminars in Uganda and India and has helped train over 12,000 church leaders during the past 20 years.

Brandon Williams, Church on the Hill, Fishersville

Brandon Williams has served as Lead Pastor at Church on the Hill in Fishersville since 2001. As the father of four grown sons, two of which are ordained pastors, Brandon diligently seeks to challenge, encourage, and raise up men to reach their God-ordained potential. Through a ministry called “The Lodge- a Place for Men,” Brandon learned to use humor, insight from Scripture, small group interactions, and real-life lessons to impart vision and equip men with practical tools to grow into mature followers of Jesus.

Registration is $35, and includes a Continental breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
